Tuition is $2500. Includes breakfast and lunch for both days. (this amount does NOT include the Botox and derma fillers that need to be purchased.  Those will be available at the course) Course can only accomodate 15 participants! Patients need to arrive for afternoon session each day.

Dr. Meinecke Bio:
Dr. Gigi Meinecke has been active in the field of facial injectables since 2004. In 2013 she established “FACES” – Facial Anatomy for Comprehensive Esthetic Seminars- providing education in cosmetic and therapeutic injectables to medical and dental professionals with its core focus on comprehensive facial anatomy. FACES is the only training offered in this discipline to regularly integrate cadaver study workshop with live patient injections. In addition to teaching, Dr. Meinecke is immediate past president of the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry and currently serves on the Maryland State Dental Associations Legislative and Government Affairs Council. Nationally, she is a spokesperson for the AGD and serves on their Legislative and Governmental Affairs Council. Dr. Meinecke also serves on the ADA Council on Communications. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and in the International College of Dentists. Dr. Meinecke maintains a full time practice in Potomac, Maryland.

Course Description:

Learn proper facial injection techniques using Botox® and Dermal Fillers at this exclusive anatomically based, academically rigorous, and scientifically driven seminar™.  With the instructor led cadaver workshop you’ll develop a complete understanding of the three dimensional facial envelope – essential for safe and predictable outcomes.  In the afternoon hands-on sessions, Mississippi licensed participants will treat their own patients with one-on-one instructor guidance.

 

DERMAL FILLER COURSE OBJECTIVES:

At the completion of training, the participant should be able to:

ü Identify specifically the areas of the aging face and features that can be improved by the use of dermal fillers

ü Conduct a thorough consultation to evaluate the potential need for and assess the suitability of facial injectables for a given patient

ü Identify pertinent vasculature, nerves, fat and boney landmarks in a human cadaver* specimen

ü Understand the various protocols associated with dermal fillers

ü Choose and apply appropriate skin cleansers/antimicrobials for the different types of injectables

ü Properly evaluate dermal fillers based on their pharmacological properties and thereby choose appropriate formulations for optimum patient outcomes

ü Acquire the technical skill to perform these injections through “hands-on” training

ü Avoid, recognize and manage adverse events

ü Describe the blunt-end cannula and its advantages over conventional needle injections

ü Correctly document treatment – in writing and photographically

 

 

BOTOX® COURSE OBJECTIVES:

At the completion of training, the participant should be able to:

ü Identify specifically the areas of the aging face and features that can be improved by the use of neurotoxins

ü Conduct a thorough consultation to evaluate the potential need for and assess the suitability of facial injectables for a given patient

ü Identify muscles of facial expression and muscles of mastication in a human cadaver* specimen

ü Understand the various protocols associated with neurotoxins

ü Acquire the technical skill to perform these injections through “hands-on” training

ü Avoid, recognize and manage adverse events

ü Understand CDC guidelines for proper asepsis in medication reconstitution and multi-use vials

ü Correctly document treatment – in writing and photographically
